This sophisticated penthouse apartment in Huguenot House on Stephens Green is a testament to the high level of interior design being created in Ireland. Concrete Design Studios were commissioned to fabricate a floating lightweight concrete media shelf in a raw concrete finish. Access to the penthouse was limited and required the media shelf to be fabricated in three pieces. The lines were embraced and accentuated with the help of the joins in the mirror. We think this functional media shelf fills this space beautifully.

The concrete is super lightweight and appears to be floating with the assistance of hidden brackets. The finish was achieved using our own mix design and our own quality ingredients. The lighter tones of grey come from a white cement base with an eco-friendly cement. The concrete was lightly polished and sealed with a high-grade sealer that lasts forever with little to no maintenance.
